Our Story

Broadway Building Group was founded in 2014. We are passionate about designing, developing, and building homes in urban cites. We continually grow our brand by building the best products available on the housing market today.

On a warm Saturday morning in March, joggers and young couples with strollers made their way down 51st Avenue North, bypassing construction sites and new restaurants advertising weekend brunch.

The scene was far different just a few years ago, when the main thoroughfare in The Nations neighborhood lacked much activity aside from industrial uses like auto body shops and lumberyards.

Some of those longtime industrial users still dot the street, but so do about a dozen newcomers, including restaurants, retail stores, apartment buildings and “coming soon” signs.

The nine-block stretch of 51st Avenue North between Charlotte Avenue and Centennial Boulevard is a symbol of the rapid development sweeping Nashville neighborhoods as old homes get demolished for new builds and businesses move in to offer residents amenities. In the last few years, 51st Avenue North has welcomed caterer and grab-and-go market Tinwings, women’s clothing boutique The Mill, bridal shop Willow Bride, restaurant/bar House: A Social Eatery, high-end restaurant Fifty First Kitchen & Bar, neighborhood hang The Nations Bar & Grill, retail store Fashionable and chef-driven restaurant Nicky’s Coal Fired.

Right nearby is Fat Bottom Brewing Co., dive bar The Centennial, Centennial Cafe, craft beer bar The Old Gas Station and Three Corners Coffee. More businesses are on the way, including Corner Pub and 51N Taproom.

Located west of West End; off Murphy Road and bounded (roughly) by I-440, Charlotte, Harding and White Bridge is the serene neighborhood of Sylvan Park. It offers the look and feel of a well-established neighborhood, yet is just a few minutes from the city.

Sylvan Park is a haven for families and urbanites that prefer their city with a bit more greenery than chrome and glass. Hosting an active neighborhood association, you sense a pride of ownership and a place where young families interact with long established ones. There are some excellent local dining establishments here as well as recreation and education. Parks and a golf course co-exist with education and medicine.

Located across the Cumberland River from downtown Nashville is the stomping ground of Nashville’s creative class, attracted to the area’s culturally-diverse and eclectic vibe and historic homes dating back to the early 1900s. In the early aughts, East Nashville helped put Nashville on the map as a culinary destination with beloved restaurants like Margot Cafe & Bar and Marche Artisan Foods, a reputation the neighborhood maintains today. Locals frequent the many dive bars, craft cocktail joints, coffee shops, and vintage stores sprinkled throughout the neighborhood.

Considered one of the most desirable areas to live in Nashville, Green Hills is an affluent suburban enclave known for upscale brands and boutiques. Hidden within an inconspicuous strip mall is the famed Bluebird Cafe, home to both established and up-and-coming songwriters.

Named for the European immigrants who first settled here in the mid-19th century, Germantown is a historic community on the National Register of Historic Places located just a few blocks northwest of downtown Nashville. The area is home to the Tennessee State Museum and Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, local boutiques and many of Nashville’s most critically-acclaimed restaurants making it a culinary destination in its own right.

Sandwiched between a vintage clothing store and a gourmet Mexican popsicle shop is a half-mile stretch along 12th Avenue South called the 12South neighborhood. One of the most walkable neighborhoods in Nashville, 12South is a shopping and dining destination chock full of restaurants, coffee houses, bakeries, bars, and boutiques featuring local designers and makers.

Our Promise

We promise to make cities and communities that we build in a better place than it was before. We achieve this by being involved with the cites that we work in, listing to the communities that we build in, and constructing the highest quality homes on the market today.
